The Spinder RT1 is a slim, quiet roof carrier for one bike — built around road, mountain and gravel bikes. Easy to install, safe for the frame and almost silent on the road.

Never touches the frame — safe for carbon

The RT1 secures the bike only by its wheels: front and rear wheel cradles hold the bike without a single strap or clamp on the frame. That matters to carbon-frame owners — no scratch worries, no risk of micro-cracks. Aluminium and steel frames are equally happy.

Just 6 kg — lift it with one hand

The whole carrier weighs only 6 kg. You can lift it onto the roof and mount it solo, without a second pair of hands. Especially handy when you're heading to a training session or race on your own.

Slim profile — less noise, less fuel

The RT1's low, smooth silhouette means less wind resistance and less cabin noise. The fuel difference is noticeable on longer drives — especially compared to wide, boxy standard carriers.

Folds away — hang it on the garage wall

When the carrier is not needed, the RT1 folds into a flat compact shape. No need for a separate shelf or box — hang it right on the garage wall.

Lockable — key included

A built-in lock secures the carrier to the roof bars and locks the bike to the carrier. Leave the car at the parking lot — nobody is taking the carrier or the bike.

Need to carry two bikes?

Two RT1 units fit on the same pair of roof bars side by side — a good fit when you and a partner both ride lightweight sport bikes. Check the width of your factory roof bars before ordering two.

When the RT1 is not a fit

E-bikes are too heavy for the RT1 — the load limit is 20 kg, while a typical e-bike weighs 22–30 kg. If you transport an e-bike, look at our tow bar carrier Spinder TX2.
