Spinder RT1 is a light and slim roof bike carrier for transporting one bicycle on the car roof. It is a good choice for those who want to transport a road bike, gravel bike or mountain bike without clamping the bicycle frame.
RT1 secures the bike by the wheels. This means there is no direct contact with the bicycle frame. This is especially important for carbon frames, where clamping or scratching the frame should be avoided.
No contact with the frame
RT1 holds the bicycle by the wheels. The front wheel is placed in the front wheel holder, and the rear wheel is secured with a strap. This means the carrier does not need to clamp onto the bicycle frame.
This makes RT1 especially suitable for carbon frame bicycles, but it is also a good option for aluminium and steel frames if you want to avoid contact with the frame.
Lightweight and easy to lift onto the roof
RT1 weighs about 6 kg, making it easier to lift onto the roof bars and install on the car. This is convenient if you use the carrier on your own or often drive to training, competitions or cycling routes.
Slim shape and less air resistance
RT1 has a low and slim design. This helps reduce air resistance and wind noise compared with larger and bulkier roof-mounted carriers.

The maximum load capacity of RT1 is 20 kg. Most e-bikes are heavier than this, so RT1 is not suitable for transporting electric bicycles. For e-bikes, a tow bar bike carrier is usually the better choice.
